Gaining valuable insight from consumers keen on utilizing this product for commuting, the team quickly took up R&D initiative to launch a product that was packed with features that the clients actually wanted, leading to the creation of Rudra 2.0. Additionally, the firm also prides itself for having localized its manufacturing upto 80 percent.
An innovative feature included by Toroid is a display screen which also displays an error code if the cycle malfunctions. “Every possible malfunction has been designated a code, and within Mumbai and Pune so far, Toroid also offers home services, wherein a technician visits the client site to repair the cycle within 48-72 hours”, further adds Darsh Bheda.
Future Roadmap
Since its inception, Toroid has established its presence across Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, and Hyderabad. The company has set clear goals for itself for the near future, starting with the aim to introduce two new products by the end of the current financial year in addition to expanding its foothold across 10 new cities. The company is also looking to actively form franchise and distribution collaborations for the product sales across these cities. By the end of the next financial year, the firm aspires to have created a foothold across 50 cities within India, while also increasing the percentage of localized production of components.
