Even with the recent advancements in this space, many are still unaware about the compliances related to CNG vehicles and talking on what causes this, Sanjay says, “The way the number of CNG Vehicles are growing, the compliance is still very poor. I believe that there are multiple causes for this. A lot off people do not know that there exists a mandatory periodic test that needs to be done once in every three years as per the present norms. So, I would suggest that the government needs to strictly take proper measures to ensure that each and every vehicle owner complies this, Secondly, even if the people are aware of this stipulation, thay are not getting it done because of poor enforceability and 'chalta hai' attitude. So, this definitely is a concern that needs to be addressed. It is necessery to avoid any fatal accident caused byusing non tested or expired or non- usable gas cylinders, no filling station should be allowed to fill
gas in it”.
