The Journey Begins
Sanjay completed his undergraduate degree in Robotics and Automation Engineering from PSG College of Technology in Coimbatore. After graduation, he realized the immense untapped potential in the logistics and supply chain market and wanted to foray into this vertical. To pursue his interest, he planned to enroll in a master’s program in Engineering Technology in the US, focusing in the field of supply chain.
However, the pandemic forced him to postpone this plan. After understanding the problems many businesses faced related to getting proper trucking, warehousing and logistics solutions during the pandemic, Sanjay decided to establish Tranzport Logistics Management Services with customer satisfaction as its top priority. Soon after the inception of the company, Sanjay moved to the US to do his master’s in Engineering Technology at the prestigious Purdue University.
Having the opportunity to learn and train amongst some of the best minds in the world also allowed him to work on a myriad of supply chain projects and gain valuable hands-on experience. Sanjay is currently working as an Operations Engineer for Cummins in the US collaborating closely with the supply chain team to further expand his horizons.
As a hardworking and passionate individual, Sanjay connects with his team back in India on a daily basis to oversee the operations of the company and guide his team. Factoring in the time difference between India and the US, he has to work around the clock to not just ensure the smooth running of Tranzport Logistics Management Services but also to fulfil his commitment towards the company he works for. Sanjay’s entrepreneurial vigor and passion for constant learning and improvement have helped him to find success both as an employee and as an entrepreneur running his own startup business.
