OCTOBER 20239TOP STORIESTHINK GAS LAUNCHES 100TH CNG STATION & FIRST LNG TERMINAL IN MADHYA PRADESHIn Bhopal and Madhya Pradesh, THINK Gas debuted its first LNG dispensing terminal and its 100th CNG station, respectively. The business now runs 41 CNG stations in Bhopal, Rajgarh, and Shivpuri. It provides maintenance for over 20,000 cars and provides the state with more than 60,000 kg of CNG each day. Additionally, the construction of 12 additional CNG stations in Madhya Pradesh is set to begin soon and be finished by March 2024.The newly introduced LNG dispensing terminal, located in the Bagroda Industrial Area, is primarily designed to serve heavy-duty vehicles such as trucks and buses traveling between major cities, including Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chhattisgarh, and Orissa. This LNG terminal offers an alternative to diesel fuel with the aim of reducing carbon emissions and potentially lower operational costs for fleet managers. The dual inauguration event in Karond and Bagroda was attended by THINK Gas senior leadership, including Amitava Sengupta, Chairman; Hardip Singh Rai, CEO; and Sandeep Trehan, President of Marketing and business Development.THINK Gas has engaged in partnerships with vehicle dealers and CNG retrofitting centers to facilitate the transition to CNG. The company has also connected over 35,000 households across the state with domestic PNG, aiming to add 100,000 more households in the coming two years. In the industrial sector, THINK Gas has formed associations with major brands, indicating a growing preference for clean energy solutions. The company has outlined plans to increase daily consumption from 80,000 to 100,000 Standard Cubic Meters (SCM) in the subsequent 12 to 18 months. SERVOKON SYSTEMS TO INVEST RS 200 CR TO BUILD UP TRANSFORMER MANUFACTURING UNIT IN UTTAR PRADESHA new manufacturing plant will be built in Hapur, Uttar Pradesh, thanks to an investment of more than Rs 200 crore from Servokon Systems. As part of Servokon's plan to improve its production capabilities, this facility, which will have a 25,000 square metre footprint, will be built. It promised that the building's foundation will be placed soon.The factory will boost the company's capability for producing transformers up to 220 KV class, as well as contribute to the local economy by creating new jobs.
