Commencing its operations in 2012, the company has put a great emphasis on technological superiority and incorporates the usage of latest technological innovations right from the stage of choosing raw material. To ensure premium quality products, it has employed the usage of an online scanner which monitors every single parameter of the material that goes into the plant, thereby helping it identify the flaws in the manufacturing stage itself. With having set up a large command and control centre, the firm tends to test its processes online through robotic testing mechanism. “Recently, we have also come up with a very interactive tool called ‘Cement calculator’ that helps a person understand the basic requirement when building a house. We are also undertaking special efforts to ensure that the plant upholds the latest environmental norms,” adds Zahid Khan, Wonder Cement.
Since its inception, Wonder Cement has come a long way in the market and has established a strong foothold for itself in the industry. Started with Line 1 with a production capacity of 3.25 Million Tons per year, it introduced Line 2 in 2015, increasing its production capacity to 6.75 Million Tons per year.
