Post Pandemic, globally, the notebooks and paper product industry experienced a decrease in demand. The extensive use of notebooks in the education sector sharply declined due to the pandemic thus slowing it down for the industry too. Vettrii Notebooks manufactures its product using A-grade Mill Papers & A Grade Duplex wrapper boards. They include notebooks of all types, such as five subject notebooks, record notebooks, cursive writing books, certificates, prospectus, brochures, scrap notebooks and all other allied products. The company is also well versed with printed books, imported art paper, used magazines, year Diaries, notepads, handbooks, handbills, calendars of all varieties, from daily sheets to spiral (wire-o-wire) calendars. Vettrii Notebooks has marked its footprints across 500 Educational Institutions in Tamil Nadu and other
states including Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana. “Our USPs are pronounced by the selection of CTP plate for wrapper, BOPP laminations, ITC duplex board, offset printing machineries which manifests the ruling in notebooks like cursive, two ruled, four ruled, broad ruled with clarity of lines, sharpness and darkness, very much visible in the products”, adds Sivakumar. The company’s journey started in 2010. At Vettrii Notebooks, the process begins with the procurement of raw materials. Once the same are in, papers are purchased from TNPL (One of India’s leading Paper Mill). Then, they are converted into notebooks and supplied to the respective schools and institutions. Currently, the company is focusing on creating different varieties of notebooks and brainstorming ideas which will also benefit and promote notebook recycling. Keeping in mind the increasing pollution level, the company also places importance to ‘think green’ and wishes to eliminate the need of cutting down trees in large numbers. “Our aim is to lead this market with quality while ensuring minimal harm to the environment”, concludes Sivakumar, CEO of Vettrii Notebooks.
