Since the inception of the company in 1978 by Shirish M. Kapadia, it has continuously focused on manufacturing best-in- class acid dyes. Over the years, the number of export countries has grown to include Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Thailand, Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Spain, U.K., Canada, US, Mexico, Haiti, Madagascar. Shirish Kapadia also launched a brand Swachha Detergent Powder in 2012. Today we are seeing maximum sales of our detergent powder online on various B2B portals like Meesho, Shopee, KeviMart, Flipkart & Amazon along with local distribution in Surat. For detergents we are the OEM for other companies interested marketing our products in their brands.

The Road Ahead
“We are ready to manufacture any acid dye required by potential clients. We have started manufacturing acid dyes to cater to the stationary ink market and other non textile usages of our products. The fastest growth we are seeing today is in the leather industry for which we have started a dedicated leather division in our company. This division is not only manufacturing acid dyes specifically for the leather industry but also syntans required for the processing of leather in the tanneries”, concludes Vaishal Kapadia, Director at Shidimo Interaux.
Detergent liquid is the logical next step in the company’s future production plans. Shidimo will be launching liquid detergent for use in washing machine and detergents for general cleaning around your household which can be the cleaning of utensils, floors, bathrooms & metallic surfaces. The company is actively seeking distributors or wholesalers around the country for its detergent and dyes business.
