State-Of-Art Factory
Sands Synergy is a state-of-the-art plant where all of its procedures are carried out in-house, starting
from cutting the cloth to using embroidery, washing, and the final finishing. Sanjay KR Singh, the head of Finance, Strategy, and Business Development at Sands Synergy, elaborates, "With a fully integrated facility, we have total control over the quality of our textiles.
Our goal is to progress from a standard machinery setup to complete modern equipment, including sewing to the washing machine. We are a FedEx compliant factory and are pursuing additional certifications, such as BSCI and others. Moreover, in terms of quality standards, we deal with well-known fashion labels, therefore we must adhere to their requirements. Every step in the process is thoroughly inspected for quality control, from raw fabric to finished garment, also in our washing facility.
Successful Journey Since Inception
Sands Synergy's founders are first generation businessmen with no prior business experience in their families. The three directors of Sands Synergy started their professional careers in the garment processing and textile mills industry in 1999. It was then that the three friends came together and started a consulting textile firm called Excel Consultants Private Limited in 2000 since they did not have the money to construct a factory.
After four years, the firm name was changed to Sands Synergy and in 2005, the Directors opened the first plant in a rented facility with just the chemical, washing, and processing facilities. Then in 2008, the leaders of Sands Synergy acquired a property in Mumbai and built an integrated factory with sewing, washing, and processing machines all under one roof. In 2018, the firm opened a second plant with the capacity to produce one million pieces a month, making it one of the largest manufacturers in the industry.

In addition, Sands Synergy has purchased another plot of land in MITC, Navi Mumbai, intending to construct an environment-friendly factory outfitted with solar panels and water treatment plants. The company's management is also quite optimistic about the future of Sands Synergy. “Compared to the previous year, we've grown by around 100 percent, and this has been one of our strongest years of growth. This year, we're hoping to increase it by another factor of two. Taking into consideration our prior progress, we expect to go public in the next three to four years”, concludes Sanjay.
