Precise Fasteners is a family-led business. It was founded in 1967 by Parag’s father, Prakash Shah, as a small trading company that registered as a private limited company in 2006. “I joined the business in around 1990. After that, we started a manufacturing unit on a small scale that expanded over time,” adds Parag. Over the next few years, Parag envisions Precise Fastener will achieve one of the topmost leading positions in the Indian fastener industry while maintaining international quality standards. “Most American and European OEMs only work with SCMs and we want to achieve the same in India,” says Parag. The company is currently implementing more quality checks, installing more gadgets, modernizing the equipment plant, and expanding the warehouse space.
