The government of India has put thrust under their Jal Jeevan mission in recent times that entrusts providing drinking water to every household in urban regions across the country in the form of tap connection by the year 2025. This has opened a massive opportunity for Prabhu Poly Pipes Limited that is well-positioned to capture this market and plans to supply all major pipe projects in the eastern and northeastern parts of the country. Prabhu Poly Pipes manufactures UPVC and HDPE pipes which are all BIS certified. It also manufactures pipes as per ASTM standard, DIN standard as per customer requirement. It is among the few manufacturers in India of the
MSME segment that has 6 licenses. “We maintain strict quality control with state of art quality laboratory with all modern and digital equipment. Right from raw material stage to production and pre-delivery state, strict quality checking is done as per approved QAP,” Hari Mohan Marda confirms. With a team of qualified quality control professional with vast experience of more than 10 years, the organization maintains a continuous process of quality checking and strictly keep improving and achieving the standards.
Started with a very small capacity of 100 tons per month of PVC pipes in the year 2006, the company has grown into 1200 tons of PVC and HDPE pipes per month in 15 years. It is now achieving to have a capacity of 2500 tons per month by 2025 looking at the promising times in the next few years. Prabhu Poly Pipes has its manufacturing facilities located in Sankrail Industrial Park, Howrah which is a very strategic location for supplying an entire eastern part of the country with the lowest shipping cost. It also imports raw materials at a lower cost giving an edge over others. By investing heavily in technology in different German technology machines, which are supposed to be the best in the market, the company has partnered with many local MFGS.

Jointly they develop, improve and inculcate new technological developments in these machines. Recently it has implemented all its machines with high-end HMIs to get more accurate and correct parameters and data during production. It has recently ventured into HDPE pipes which are their focus area for good growth prospects in the coming years. “Keeping the Government of India’s Make in India policy we also see more thrust in HDPE pipes sector in infrastructure projects as PVC resin is mostly imported in India. However, in near future we see ourselves venture into North and Central India for expanding our market,” Hari Mohan Marda confirms.
Prabhu Poly Pipes is also looking ahead to introduce new products like CPVC, DWC pipes, and telecom ducts. It is focusing more on branding and scaling to be achieved as MSME. With a further regular capacity expansion, it is aiming to achieve a CAGR of 30-40 percent annually and with a given opportunity in the space of Jal Jeevan Mission, it can achieve all its proposed plans successfully.
