The Printers House (TPH) has brought state-of-the-art solution for these clients in the printing industry through Web Offset Printing presses and is one of the leaders not only in India but also in the world. These machines support speed at 16k
to 50k copies per hour which is now exactly what most of the clients globally require for their production volume. As the company director, Rishab Kohli, describes, the Web Offset Printing presses are a crucial solution in this industry pioneered by TPH. The company started by K D Kohli in Ballabgarh has produced a home for international operators creating employment.
In Rishab Kohli’s words, “Ballabgarh has now become a hub for industrial manufacturing and a lot of that goes to the history of our company. When we invested and imported these massive CNC machines, vendors started to develop to service our requirements. Then industry started to develop around these vendors to utilize the supply chain. So, I believe we have a large role to play in the industrial development in Haryana.”
Quality Assurance
TPH’s product range suffices the specialized market need depending on client’s requirements. TPH has a really stable connection through their supply chain due to which they are working with the same vendors from the beginning many of which are thriving only on TPH orders. The company MD adds, “We have got multiple cut off’s and multiple sizes of printing products. In terms of technology we use the one that gives topmost quality of the product.
We use high quality materials such as Timkin bearings which is one of our biggest differentiators. In terms of in house development we have a brand new shaftless automated reel changer ready for market along with other new products which are yet to be announced.” Specific operation and right resource utilization has led to development of key service to clients that is reliability of TPH’s print quality.
While ensuring productivity TPH simultaneously invested in building massive plants to support metallurgy. A 20-acre plot of land in Haryana holds 3 plants that are self-sustaining with multiple service engineers, strong servicing and technical team. Currently TPH has 10 brand offices throughout India that is also contributing in ensuring client satisfaction.
Looking at the Future
TPH has opened its export operations in the 70s and presently is exporting all sorts of presses heavily around the world. While growing the company has developed agencies and established presence in 45 countries. Mr. Kohli highlights, in 2009 they signed marketing agreement with Koenig & Bauer for selling web offset press and cross-marketing and cross-promotional relationship as well. TPH is looking towards a bright future and high growth whilst increasing its range of products.
