The global ready-mix concrete market size is projected to reach USD 766,636 million by 2026. The surge in demand for ready-mix concrete for sustainable infrastructure, increase in urbanization and industrialization in developing economies, rise in construction activities fuel the growth of the global ready-mix concrete mix market.
Today, because of the lockdowns owing to the pandemic and various other restrictions such as traffic restrictions and pollution norms, time has become the essence and planning has become extremely essential for on-time delivery of goods. “Since ready-mix concrete is measured based on two major aspects “quality and timely delivery, clients look for companies that provide quick/on-time deliveries and quality products,” says Nitin Vijayakar, CEO and Director Procon RMC Plants.
One such company providing high-quality ready-mix concrete to clients ontime is Mumbai-based Procon RMC. Renowned for supplying high-grade concrete especially for infra projects, girders, beams even without a single rejection facilitated Procon RMC to bag the High-Speed Rail project. Procon also supplies free-flow concrete and Mivan mixes extensively.
Prompt service & LOGISTICS support
ProconRMC has its own fleet services of transit mixers, concrete pumps, and boom placers. What differentiates Procon RMC from the other players
in this landscape is the company’s prompt service, quality products, strategic locations, and logistic support rendered by its sister concern.
Robust & strong operational team
“Our sister concern Ajit Rentals provides us infrastructure support, that includes a fleet of 200 trucks and 10 pumps. While our plants located in strategic locations are one of the main USPs, the technical experience of our directors and the operational team is the key to our success,” says Tejas Nigade, Chief Of Sales, Procon RMC.
A wide range of products
Procon RMC offers a special concrete – Procon Thermocrete that is used for mass concreting to get heat-controlled hydration to avoid heat resulting in cracking and thermal stress. Procon also offers self-compacting concrete – Procon Easycrete which has cohesive flowing properties. "This type of concrete is suitable for structures with heavy reinforcements where the spacing between bars or piling where it is least possible to be compact. Self-compacting concrete (SCC) is one of the flowing concretes that does not need vibration and indeed should not be vibrated. SCCs use superplasticizers and stabilizers to increase the ease and rate of flow.
