The hydroponic farming industry has seen a recent relentless growth with a huge number of players joining in the post-COVID-19 pandemic. With its flagship product OCTA Garden, the company offers a soilless way of growing plants at home in a vertical tower that requires just 2*2 sqft. space and can accommodate 32 plants at a
time. Since it’s an aeroponic/ hydroponics way of cultivation, the system uses only water and liquid nutrients for plant growth. The product comes with an automated irrigation system that has a water reservoir of approx. 40 liters which last up to 10 days, making the operation tension free.
“OCTA-Garden comes as a DIY product packed in a box which is very easy to install. Being an automated system, it gives you a hassle free growing experience that takes care of all the plants’ needs,” adds the company’s other co-founder, Prateek Arya. It uses an Nutrient formula mixed with water to keep the plants healthy and pesticide-free. OCTA Garden is a scientific and environment-friendly solution that helps create cleaner and greener spaces. It can be set up on rooftops, balconies, home gardens, offices, commercial spaces, kitchen planting areas, and several other places. This aeroponics solution supports space management by implementing a vertical style growing system ensuring that more plants can be grown in a smaller area, making it an ideal product for homes as well as commercial setups.
“Vegetables grown using hydroponics technology tend to have a higher nutrient content and lesser harmful elements. And if you install this, you are assured of getting pesticide and chemical free produce that has grown right in your home, this giving you a healthy plant to plate experience,” Prateek states.
