The company has conducted research through collaboration with dentists who have tested products on oral care patients and confirmed the fact that the usage of bamboo toothbrushes improves oral health and are much better than the conventional plastic toothbrushes used by people. Bamboo Haat is also acting significantly on the reduction of pollution caused by plastic material. Water pollution in India is primarily caused by plastic that are further consumed by the marine life. Those fishes are again caught for human consumption. “This is a cyclic process through which the pollution is ultimately affecting healthy human lives. Similarly, soil pollution & air pollution are also caused by plastic waste generated from the usage of plastic products. In order to stop this, people need to start using eco-friendly products and create a better environment around them”, states Sumit.

Currently, the company is operating through its own website and popular e-commerce channels in India. It is touching the lives of many Indians through quality and innovative products in both personal care & office stationery segments. It has a dedicated Sales and Distribution team across the Delhi- NCR region and a dedicated team for institutional & Hospitality businesses to onboard clients in the corporate sector. The Founder believes that only mass-scale adoption of these eco-friendly & bio-degradable products will result in society rising up to the realization of the usefulness of these products.
Looking Ahead
Apart from the current range of products that the company is offering, it is also working on products in various other categories. “We want to increase our product categories and also create a pan- India presence in the coming months. We also want to cater to the international demand for eco-friendly products in lieu of a growing international market. We hope to become a global supplier of bamboo-based products in the coming five years”, concludes Sumit.
