Driven by a wide range of factors, such as consistent innovation, inclusivity, diversity, and digitalization, The Indian Fashion Industry, especially after the pandemic, has been rapidly evolving while trying to keep up with the ever-changing consumer preferences across the globe and today is considered the fastest growing apparel market globally.
The changing consumer preferences, especially the millennials and the gen-z, have enabled the industry to adapt to various disruptive innovations, including coming up with new fashion trends almost every month, which has constantly kept the industry on its toes in terms of sourcing & procurement and a strong supply chain.
Started in 2020 by industry leaders with more than three decades of extensive experience in the apparel and fashion industry, Allure Global Sourcing (AGS) is a Gurgaon-based Garment Buying House and leading exporter of high-quality apparel offering a wide range of sourcing services to its clients across the globe. Starting from product design & development to factory sourcing, manufacturing control, logistics, and many more, the firm leverages its expertise and extensive network of supply chain partners to offer end-to-end services for all stakeholders in the industry.
Along with its sister concern Futurefab, an experimental fabric studio, AGS has been a true ambassador of the Make in India initiative, exporting and promoting Indian-made fabrics across the globe.
Coming to Fabrics Sourcing, AGS sources fabrics from mills across India. The firm has an in-house robust fabric team of textile engineers with more than two decades of extensive experience in the textile industry. The firm prefers to source the fabrics from places perfectly suited both geographically as well as resource-wise for the cultivation of those fabrics. For instance, the firm sources cotton from mills in South India, mid-wear fabrics from Tirupur and Ludhiana, Woolen fabrics from Kashmir and Punjab, and so on.
"For fabrics that are not manufactured in India, such as man-made fibers, AGS sources them globally from China, Vietnam, and Korea. Once the fabrics are received, AGS processes them through various lab tests checking various parameters, such as colorfastness, shrinkage crocking, tensile strength, and many more, to further ensure the fabric quality and authenticity", shares Waseem Siddiqui, CEO & Managing Director.

AGS has both in-house designers at Gurgaon as well as freelance designers in London and New York, who come up with the color forecast and based on which, the team starts on the silhouettes and designs. The firm then does further R&D on the designs before going for the samples. Once the samples are ready, the team goes for fitting and further evaluation. Based on the feedback, the firm then makes further corrections to the designs. The whole evaluation and re-designing phase goes through multiple cycles to ensure the best final product before the team goes for bulk production.
Starting its operations in 2020, AGS has come a long way in terms of overall growth and expansion of its client base. Pandorna, a quality clothing brand under AGS’s sister concern Futurefab, reflects the organization's strong belief in delivering high-quality Made in India apparel through two of its unique collections, Pandorna & Pandorna Select. The clothing options under Pandorna are available on various e-commerce platforms, such as Amazon, Ajio, Myntra, and Flipkart, as well as the firm’s official website.
