The Indian government has set a target of $25 billion in defence production by 2025, including $5 billion in exports by 2025. The government is launching a number of programs to promote indigenous manufacturing. Having said that, India has a wealth of fresh talent that should be capitalized on. Furthermore, government programs like DAP 2020 push the industry to develop new business models to assure TOT or R&D and manufacturing in India. Today, the country is fast moving towards self-sufficiency and indigenization, and it will soon become a major exporter. When it comes to expectations, it is critical to maintain high quality standards while also assuring product affordability. However, because global war game methods are developing, the emphasis now is on optimal quality.
Acculytics Chemicals has been developing future-oriented solutions in order to boost the Indian defence sector. The company is known in the industry as a reputed manufacturer of defence grade protective coatings. Acculytics Chemicals is part of a group which has its technological firm known as Acculytics Systems.
“Our products are one-of-a-kind, such as our Blast Proof Coating which can be applied to any structure orvehicle. It has been tested for 100 Kg TNT. Similarly, Self Healing material used on vehicle fuel tanks or gasoline tankers can resist an endless number of gunshots while being very low in weight. We also have Liquid Soil Stabilizer, Liquid Packing Material, and Gun & Weapon
Paints, among other things. Our focus has been on bringing innovative goods to guarantee that our clients have a competitive advantage in what they do”, says Siddhartha Srivastava, Director at Acculytics Chemicals.
“We also execute the projects to ensure that the quality & performance of the product is not compromised while providing end-to-end solutions. For example, blast proof or self-healing coating projects need extensive application expertise as well as a grasp of explosion and ballistic events”, he adds.
Driven by Innovation
Acculytics Chemicals has always prioritized the hiring of capable experts who can drive innovation. As a result, with a mix of young workers and industry experts, the firm has been able to meet its aim of bringing the most innovative and distinctive products & solutions to its niche clientele. For example, this year, the company began developing a lightweight portable helipad; today, Indian Forces use relatively heavy helipads or track ways constructed of steel or aluminum, which take a significant amount of people and machinery to mobilize. The company has devised highly lightweight man portable helipads while maintaining a high strength-to-weight ratio. This job was finished in three months due to the company’s expertise. At present, the prototype is being tested and assessed by the Indian Army.
Based on customer requirements and a global war paradigm change, we try to design technologies that disrupt the way things happen
“Based on customer requirements and a global war paradigm change, we try to design technologies that disrupt the way things happen. Because it greatly decreases overall weight, our self-healing coating replaces the use of armour steel in armored vehicles. While armour steel can only withstand a finite amount of bullet strikes, our self-healing coating can withstand an endless number of hits. As a result, despite being hit by a vehicle, our personnel have the benefit of remaining in the field for a longer period of time. This also prevents fuel leakage, which might result in a blast or fire”, highlights Siddhartha.
The defence sector is quickly expanding, and India is on track to become a significant defence maker and exporter in the not-too-distant future. The industry is evolving at a rapid rate in order to provide clients with innovative products. Furthermore, there is another component of defence technology that is unavoidable, as future battles will be fought with robotics and relatively few soldiers on foot. The group’s company, Acculytics Systems, is active in technology-based R&D, product development, and services such as Cybersecurity, AI, and IoT-based technologies to help the Indian Defence industry prepare for the future.
