What is the unequivocal factor that isolates age X from age Y? The appropriate response would be enterprise, i.e., transforming an answer into a potential business thought. It is this nature of transforming an answer into an advancement that separates a traditional man from a business visionary. However, the path to entrepreneurship is seldom defined by age. Kian is a young entrepreneur who founded two exceptional startups Neo Connect, and Digital Vyavsaay.
Neo Connect offers solutions in the sustainability realm of business. The startup creates an awareness by offering practical solutions of industrial waste management from segregation to reuse, recycling or donation depending on the materials being scrapped by the particular industry. Moreover, the startup takes the approach of the concepts of 5S , cleanliness and CSR. The other startup, Digital Vyavsaay, offers software and real time solutions to technologically enable, upgrade and automate traditional businesses. These two together can provide a complete revamping ( A business spa experience) of traditional small scale business to a new age, modern, sustainable, digitally present and savvy business relevant to today's global trends of knowhow and operations.
Kian is a born entrepreneur and 16 year young change maker. Kian studied the life and success stories of self-made tycoons like Dhirubhai
Ambani and academic geniuses like Sunder Pichai & Indira Nooi. Inspired by these moguls of industries, Kian aspired to make his own mark in the world of business. Motivated amply, he started early with a wide open observation to address the troubles of the society. From educational scarcity, to unemployment, to the rising skill-gap amongst qualified graduates; Kian keeps his ear to the ground to listen to the needs of the industry at large. The young mogul is also aware of the drawbacks of a traditionally family run business on the back of legacy systems that more often than not, perish on the face of technology changes. Rightly so, such businesses slow down in terms of profitability & productivity given the lack of skills and capability required by the modern tech. Nevertheless, the seniors in such businesses offer the much more precious gift of 'experience'. Kian has been fortunate as he shares, "I'm taking inspiration from the legacy businesses I have had the good fortune to intern with and the quality educational institutions that I've been attending. I have had the good fortune of being mentored by some of the top leaders in the Indian corporate. I've taken it upon myself as a moral, & social responsibility, and business opportunity, to incept the two startups".
Leveraging his legacy and exposure in the business world, with a personal passion to become a supremely successful new age entrepreneur, Kian has launched and led several entrepreneurial endeavors, including Neoconnect, which provides sustainability waste management, recycling and backward integration solutions to Indian manufacturing & service sector; and Digital Vyavsaay, which offers affordable systems and scaling solutions for small to medium enterprises.
Kian also regularly volunteers and fundraises for NGOs for underprivileged children. He has interned across different business sectors, including stints with financial analysts and telecommunications providers. He even helped develop an IoT agri-finance stack for India’s farmers. Currently, he is authoring a book, “Eastern Gurus, Western Coaches”, to distill his learning and experiences about the entrepreneur mindset and journey of self learning and growth with others.
