Suzlon, a developer of renewable energy solutions, has received a contract from Juniper Green Energy to build a 69.3 MW wind power plant. According to a corporate release, the project is situated in Gujarat's Surendra Nagar area and is scheduled to be completed in 2024. JP Chalasani, CEO of Suzlon Group, stated, "We are pleased to announce our first order with Juniper Green Energy Private Limited and our second order for the 3 MW series. 22 wind turbine generators (WTGs) with a Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) tower and a 3.15 MW rating will be installed by Suzlon.
The 3.15 MW S144-140m, the company's largest turbine from the 3 MW series, has received its first significant order. In accordance with the agreement, Suzlon will carry out the project, including erection and commissioning, and provide the wind turbines (equipment supply). Additionally, Suzlon will offer complete post-commissioning operations and maintenance services.
With more than 800 MW of operational solar power capacity, Juniper Green Energy CEO Naresh Mansukhani said, "We hope to start our wind energy journey with this project and look forward to creating many more landmark projects in the future."
