To generate 1.5 GW of renewable energy capacity in the nation, Serentica Renewables claimed it has contracts worth Rs 10,000 crore with top clean energy solution suppliers.
The company has partnered with companies like Suzlon, Siemens Gamesa, and Envision for its upcoming wind projects in Maharashtra and Karnataka. While Jinko Solar and Trina Solar will provide solar panels for its projects in Rajasthan and Maharashtra, respectively.
Suzlon, Sterling & Wilson, Amara Raja Power Systems, EverRenew, and Rays Power will carry out the engineering, procurement, and construction for the projects, it was noted. By FY25, the projects are expected to be put into operation. The corporation is installing solar and wind generating facilities throughout Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, and the states where it has connectivity to the interstate transmission network.
