NLC India Ltd (NLCIL), a state-owned company, announced that it has been awarded an 810 MW grid-connected solar photovoltaic power project in Rajasthan. The order was given to the navratna firm with its main office in Neyveli, Tamil Nadu, by Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Nigam Limited (RRVUNL). For the development of RRVUNL's 2,000 MW Ultra Mega Solar Park at Pugal Tehsil, Bikaner district, Rajasthan, NLC India announced that it had won the entire 810 MW tender filed by RRVUNL.
RRVUNL has released the letter of intent for this project. Investors are concerned as markets see a dramatic correction. RVUNL will provide the project's land as well as the power evacuation system connected to the state transmission utility (STU).
The project is the biggest renewable project that the company has ever developed. With the completion of this project, Rajasthan's power projects will have a combined capacity of 1.36 GW, including 1.1 GW of green power. Given Rajasthan's favourable solar radiation, a greater capacity utilisation factor (CUF) for the project is feasible. Over the course of its lifetime, it will produce more than 50 billion units of green power and reduce around 50,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions.
Excitel introduces a new World Cup plan that includes a Disney+ Hotstar subscription, including pricing information.
