Considering the need to augment private investments and at the same time increase the rate of job generation, Centre has sat in motion a mega out-reach program with the objective to understand and straighten out the complications both the large corporate and MSMEs encounter. For a month, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry has been in talks with around 25 large corporates and MSMEs to get a proper grasp of the needs and the set of circumstances they breathe in.
The Project Management Cell is an endeavour taken to see the light about the difficulties and challenges these companies are subjected to in the industry. The most common issues these concerns in while carrying out their objective of expanding the business and reach are-the current regulations and liquidity conditions. Some of the big wheels of the corporate industry such as Tata Group, Wipro, and Bharti Group who have been discussing the matter with Piyush Goyal, the Commerce and Industry Minister. He has also had a session with the MSME groups. He has also highlighted the importance of the MSME sector in employment generation.
The minister is all set to meet representative from diverse sectors including aviation, road, textiles, food processing, renewable energy, tourism and mining industries. “We have taken into account the problems being faced by the MSMEs, which are job generating engine and the backbone of any economy.” To ameliorate the situation Goyal will be collaborating with other ministers, instituting an upward growth of the sectors. It is in fact a significant step taken towards uplifting the economic condition in the country.
