A worldwide industrial manufacturing giant has contracted 37 MWp of solar photovoltaic (PV) projects from Cleantech Solar, a leading supplier of renewable energy solutions to businesses in India and Southeast Asia, at its solar parks around Maharashtra, which have a combined capacity of 300 MWp. The client will purchase power on a captive basis from these solar parks, supplying clean energy to their state-based manufacturing operations. It is anticipated that this long-term solar cooperation between Cleantech Solar and
the customer would produce about 1.3 TWh of clean energy over the course of the project, resulting in a reduction of about 1,198 kilotonnes of CO2 emissions. The fully operating solar installation was developed, financed, and built by Cleantech Solar, a turnkey solar provider. For the duration of the contract, the developer will also offer operation and maintenance services for the project.
The founder and CEO of Cleantech Solar, Mr. Raju Shukla, stated, "We are honoured to be the sustainability partner for some of the top industrial firms in the world. In this case, we are supplying renewable energy to the customer from our cutting-edge solar parks in Maharashtra. A positive sign that top corporate consumers are committed to running operations responsibly, lowering their carbon footprints, and minimising environmental effect is their purchase of renewable energy.
Our top-notch solar solution offers significant energy cost reductions, secure electricity supply, and doesn't demand a client investment. Congrats to the teams on both sides for completing the system commissioning successfully. We look forward to expanding our collaboration.
