Amp Energy India, CESC Limited has awarded it a 150 MW hybrid energy project. Through its subsidiary Amp Green Energy Private Ltd, it has
secured the wind-solar project for a price of Rs 3.07 per unit. Amp Energy India declared in a statement that the revealed tariff was the lowest in the bid. With discom CESC Ltd., the power purchase agreement (PPA) for this project will be carried out as planned.
"By combining wind and solar energy in one project, we can better utilise the land, increase power production, and lower the system's intermittency.
According to Pinaki Bhattacharyya, MD and CEO of Amp Energy India, "We are pleased to bring green power to eastern India through CESC, one of India's top integrated utility providers.
