The Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) industry has revolutionized modern construction, offering cost-effective, durable, and highly customizable structures with fast turnaround times. Known for its efficiency and sustainability, PEBs cater to sectors like manufacturing, logistics, and commercial real estate, addressing the demand for scalable and environmentally friendly solutions. As a leader in this evolving industry, Vastechpeb has set itself apart by leveraging advanced architectural and engineering expertise. The company specializes in creating innovative, pillarless structures with spans exceeding 150 feet, tackling complex projects others might avoid. With a commitment to pushing design boundaries and incorporating cutting-edge technology, the firm ensures that every project meets the highest standards of quality, sustainability, and client satisfaction.
“We began our journey in the North East, establishing our first office in Guwahati when there was only one other company in the region, which operated out of Delhi NCR. Recognizing the untapped potential, we aimed to serve the entire North East region. With support from friends and family, we gradually expanded to Siliguri, catering to the West Bengal region, and later extended our operations to Nepal and Bhutan. Today, we have offices in Ahmedabad, Delhi NCR, and Indore, serving various states across India”, speaks Rishav Goenka, Founder & CEO, Vastechpeb. The company has completed projects for major clients like Mahindra, Flipkart, Amazon, Dabur, and Westside, among others.
Delivering Excellence
The firm has completed a highly demanding project for Mahindra Logistics in Guwahati. The task involved constructing a 300,000-square-foot facility within six months, during adverse weather conditions, including heavy rains and 40°C heat. Despite these challenges, the company delivered the project in five months and 20 days.
The firm’s performance in Guwahati earned it a second project in Agartala, and it is now on the verge of signing a pan-India deal with Mahindra for future projects. Another example is a Westside project, where the company was tasked with completing a G+2, 50,000-square-foot building within just two and a half months. Vastechpeb is on track to deliver it one week ahead of schedule, including the civil work.
“We are based in the Northeast, with operations spanning West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Delhi NCR (covering Punjab, Haryana, and Delhi), and we extend our work to Mumbai. While we haven't established ourselves in the southern region, we’ve completed projects in Hyderabad through our Indore office. Internationally, we operate in Nepal and Bhutan, having completed over 30 projects in Bhutan and 10 in Nepal. Our vision is simple, we aim to grow and expand.
We're planning to set up a factory in Central India to cater to the southern market”, adds Rishav Goenka. The firm has established strong relationships in Siliguri, particularly with Bangladeshi contacts, and is actively pursuing tenders to build warehouses along the Bangladesh-West Bengal border. They are also exploring opportunities in Myanmar’s upcoming food park. Currently, the company operates two factories, one in Delhi NCR and another in Rajasthan, and plans to expand to Central India.
We don't just build structures, we push the boundaries of design with every project, turning challenges into opportunities for innovation
Innovating the Future
The firm initially registered as an MSME and is now preparing for meetings in Mumbai to foster collaborations. With a strong passion for Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) design, the team comprising architects and structural engineers, innovates by tackling challenges like creating pillarless structures with spans over 150 feet. For them, PEB is a design-driven approach, especially for high-rise buildings. While most structures in the Northeast and Bengal region are G+10 or G+12, they see potential for G+20 and G+25 buildings, given the favorable soil capacity. The firm is also working to include steel structures in local building bylaws, paving the way for larger projects, including a G+25 building.
