SSR Marine's journey began in 2011, and entry into any market was not straightforward. But the company put a lot of effort into getting started, and in the first year, it received some projects, completing them on schedule. By God's grace and with the support of all employees, the firm bought one vessel in 2017 and entered the coastal trade. In 2018-2019, the firm bought two more vessels and is currently prospering. In its first year, the company only had 11 employees; as of today, there are 150 people employed by the company.
“Moving forward, we want to pursue innovation and new technology. Our main focus is the design of hybrid vessels, where the world is what we'll be looking at and the vessel we're talking about will be 95 percent indigenous. We're also working in tourism to start Kerala coastal tourism by passenger vessels so you can board the vessel on one board and disembark at the next port.
