Experts estimate that an additional 3 billion people will live in cities by 2050. Due to urbanization and population growth, there would be increased loads on cities. India is 2nd most populated country and a developing one also. What will be the impact of this on the current population – 35 percent of which currently lives in cities and contributes to about 75 percent of the country's economic output? So India has an enormous ocean of opportunity in Urban Planning and Designbut it had its associated issues. India is a developing country and with associated impacts ranging from increased transportation needs to more buildings, how do we make cities sustainable to support this growth? This is the question which we asked ourselves and sought a sustainable solution to make India a perfect utopia for everyone.
The major challenges currently faced by urban areas across the major Indian Cities are Urban Sprawl, haphazard growth, Ghost town formation, poverty, unemployment, poor housing infrastructure, constraints on productivity and the extraordinary potential of these areas are able to make a remarkable change in the future from infrastructure to culture to economic opportunity, and the learning on the concept of harnessing the power of urban development for global progress is required.
“Our work is diverse and from the small pavilion to large scale master plan of cities. we believe that every project is unique, and try to give our best. Our range of projects-from various small to high-end houses, schools, religious buildings, community centers to hotels, commercial complexes, university buildings, recreation centers, adaptive reuse, and historic restorations-are all unique because each project offers its own experience.
