Currently, the R&D Team at Mojj Engineering is working on a Spent wash (Spray Dryer) for a Syrup/Molasses based plant. It will eliminate the incineration boiler which requires huge maintenance costs as well as higher capex (approx 5 times of a spray dryer). By implementing a spray dryer in a molasses-based distillery huge amount of opex can be saved. The powder coming out from the spray dryer has a high amount of potash and other micro-nutrients which can be sold into the market or to the Fertilizer Industry.
