The Indian industrial warehousing industry is expected to see a sunrise as manufacturing is shifting out of China due to the Pandemic aftershock. India needs to be prepared with developers in particular which is why they are building warehouses at a frantic pace, often with private equity (PE) booty.
With the rising demand, the need to standard design guidelines and compliance to safety and environmental norms for warehouses is also picking up. Automation of storage systems and warehouse operations is going to be the key for market leaders.

Due to this, material handling time is added. Even work in progress (WIP) material is kept on the machine side which blocks the gangway. This is always an area of concern for all plant managers.

So, when one of our customers was facing this issue, we suggested installing Mezzanines for storing Raw Material, WIP material, even keeping machines on it, to free up space on the ground floor, and allowing them to ease the movement, reduce material handling time, and also be able to increase production on same lines by 50%. Hence, we installed five Mezzanines in combination with VRCs, which helped them use height more efficiently and keep material more organized. We are exclusive dealers of Dexion in India who is a global pioneer in this industrial segment. We already have executed 27m high vertical carousel (Highest in India) for one of our customers. Our sheet storage solution has now an automated variant, with already few installations finished”, concludes the MD.
