Megaa Moda’s state-of-the-art shrimp processing facility is built on 2.5 acres with a covered area of 7,500 square meters and is located near high shrimp catchment areas of Bay of Bengal/West Mednapur Districts of West Bengal. It includes built-in worker accommodation, reefer trailers, certified testing laboratories, cold storage, and logistics. Megaa Moda has three different cold stores with a total of 1,600 metric tonnes in capacity. The plant boasts world-class infrastructure and fully equipped machinery, including a world’s best IQF freezer from Sweden.
Megaa possesses all of the necessary certifications, including those from USFDA, BAP, BRCGS, Global Aquaculture Alliance, JAS-ANZ, SEDEX, and AEO Tier-II Indian Customs, all of which attest to the high quality of its facility and products.The hygiene conditions maintained in the plant are that of global standards

The company's products are widely acknowledged, and demand is increasing year on year in all major growth markets, including the United States, Canada, Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and more over the supply of raw materials. Since its inception, the company has focused primarily on exports.
The firm started the fisheries business in 2012 and today it has grown to become one of the leading shrimp processors in India. From running its operations in leased premises till 2016 to establishing its own world-class Integrated Processing Unit in 2017, the journey is well reflected in its growth figures. Starting with a modest turnover of 27 crores in FY 2012-13, the company surpassed the 100 crore mark in 2017, with 115 crores, and came close to reaching the 200 crore mark in FY 2019-20, with 197.66 crores. “Megaa's recognition as an international brand is expected to accelerate further as a result of support from the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) under its Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme for branding and marketing activities, which we intend to pursue aggressively over the next five years", emphasizes Yogesh Gupta, Managing Director.
The Company is in the process of adding other frozen items to its portfolio for e.g.: Basa Fish, Hilsa Fish, Bhetki Fish, Ready to Cook Products, Ready to Eat Products. It will add more SKUs in MT platforms and expand to other geographical regions of India. Megaa plans to appoint Distributors in all regions- phase wise. The Company targets to sell through e-commerce platforms and B2C both in the domestic as well as international market. Its revenue targets are upwards of $100 million in 2-3 years’ timeline - targeting 60 percent from B2B and 40 percent from B2C (20 percent Domestic and 20 percent International).

As part of Megaa's expansion efforts, the Company is looking to raise fresh funding from Series B investor for continued growth and expansion. With the new investments, the company will embark on a new phase in its development.
