Narayanan Shivaramakrishnan, Director of Jasman Consultants states, “When we started JCPL in 1993 the requirements of survey and marine services in the Industry were limited. They had very few clients with less volumes. Due to our professional and committed Services we added more Clients. Further, there was continuous growth in the Shipping Industry. We kept on upgrading our Software Platform and expanded to all new ICDs as and when they were opened in North India.
Presently, they are handling major Shipping Lines like COSCO, OOCL, HYUNDAI, ZIM, KMTC, SCI, WAN HAI. Apart from Shipping Lines they are handling major MNC Forwarder accounts like EXPEDITORS, KUEHNE + NAGEL, SCHENKER, APL LOGISTICS, CEVA, BOLLORE etc.
Today, with pride, we can say, we have a market share of approx. 60-65 % of Forwarder/Consolidators Business and approximately 30-35 percent of Shipping Lines/NVOCC Business, in Northern India”.
