While talking more about the unique inception story of the company, DIPESH SHETYE, PARTNER says “Five friends decided to form a group under guidance of Dr. Ulhas Sawaikar and work on a project- Construction of Sewage Treatment Plant including sewage network at Farmagudi. The five friends started exploring newer techniques in the market to complete the mega-scale project within a year.
One day, after a tiring day at work, one of the friends suggested that there are very few players in this market, so, why don’t we turn surveying into business? This Idea was generated on a glass of beer where 4 agreed to form a startup. Remaining person wanted to study further and become professor. This is the inception story of our company, Hightec Engineers. And even though we faced a lot of skepticism in the beginning, we have
been able to prove them wrong through our growth and success in the industry”. There are four factors that have been cornerstones for Hightec Engineers sustained success in the industry and they are a) Timely delivery- Hightec Engineers is well known in the market for timely delivery.
They have an efficient and energetic team at management and execution level to speed up the process. The company has multiple survey teams so that scheduling is quicker. Each team consists of a surveyor and 2 assistants. More number of staffs assigned for a project ensures quick service.
To monitor the quality, the company also has experienced engineers to prepare engineering plans and offer suggestions/ recommendations to the Client. Apart from that Hightec Engineers use sophisticated technology and software at every level to fasten the entire technical process. b) Quality work- Every project that Hightec Engineers work on is checked twice for its quality by an Engineer and senior management staff. Adding more about their evolution in the industry and how they are planning for the future, Dipesh Shetye adds “Our company has grown 9900% since its opening FY 2014-2015. Having a base in Goa, Hightec Engineers has now established themselves in neighboring states i.e. Maharashtra and Karnataka.
We are also planning to set up base in Kerala and Uttara khand by the end of the year. Through our surveys, we have helped many people secure their boundaries and prevent encroachments. We have resolved many land related disputes. Going forward, we want to continue doing this and elevate ourselves into market leaders and standard bearers in this segment”.
