Producing High Quality Raw Materials for Critical Infrastructure Projects
More than 25 million Tons of steel is produced every year on Induction furnaces manufactured by Electrotherm (Engineering
and Technologies division) and supplied in 52 different countries. The company is also into the production of peripheral equipment for steel plants including casters, Ladle Refining Furnace and Air Pollution Control systems. The company manufactures TMT bars sold under the brand name ET TMT which are produced using the Integrated Iron Ore-Induction furnace-Ladle refining Furnace technology route.

Electrotherm’s plant comprises Blast Furnaces, Sponge Iron Kilns, Induction Furnace, Rolling Mills, Ladle Refining Furnace, epoxy coating unit, fully equipped physical and chemical laboratories that facilitate the making of ductile iron pipes. Electrotherm is one of the few companies in the country and the only one in Gujarat that uses Integrated Iron ore-Induction furnace-Ladle refining furnace technology to produce TMT bars. The quality of TMT bars produced is aligned with the quality of TMT bars produced through blast furnace route by large players like SAIL, RINL and TATA. ET TMT bars have been approved by the distinguished government authorities like RDSO, MES, NPCIL, DFCCIL, PGCIL, NHAI and many more.
Electrotherm also produces Fe 500, Fe 500D, Fe 550D, corrosion resistance TMT bars and Epoxy coated TMT bars. The company also produces and delivers ready to use Cut & Bend TMT bars. Electrotherm steels are refined using LRF route and have less sulphur, phosphorus and low gas levels and non-metallic impurities.
