While we cannot account for the ground condition deep beneath the floor slab, we work with contractors to ensure sub-bases are appropriately prepared and compacted. Our engineers will visit the site and conduct a level survey on the sub-base as well as plate bearing tests to ensure that the preparation was done perfectly,” he adds.
