Cold Storage has reached a decent height in the market and takes immense pride in being completely debt free. “One of the big decisions that we took as an organization was to completely shift to availing the agriculture tariff and hence our focus is purely on agricultural commodities and not industrial and processed foods. We pride ourselves in working with many exporters for the exports of fresh fruits and vegetables in significant quantities and provide them facilities for packaging, pre cooling and container stuffing all at a single location,” Harshad adds.

The vision and courage for starting the Cold storage was by Ramniklal Shah who was a first generation entrepreneur. That vision was ably executed on by Harshad and Harish Shah who successfully contributed to the growth of the company for 30 years since its inception. The baton for the management has been successfully handed over to the third generation who are shouldering the responsibility now for taking the organization forward. The operations team is currently led by Hiten Parekh who has been with the organization for more than 20 years. He is supported by a team of store keepers and office staff to carry on the day to day activities of the business.
