Supply chain disruptions in the global apparel trade have continued in the aftermath of pandemic. While lockdowns, order cancellations, manufacturing delays, and logistical uncertainty were key issues during the pandemic’s peak, the difficulties will be different in the days ahead. As per a report by QIMA, global apparel manufacturing leaders like China, Vietnam and Bangladesh are now dealing with massive issues like container price hike, labor shortage and political turmoil. This in turn has hampered the well established supply chain network and left the global enterprises into a state of tremendous turmoil, with no answer to three fundamental issues of quality, cost, and lead-time.
