Exposure to toxic gas is killing the global workforce silently, reports WHO. Between 2000 -2016 more than 450,000 workers died due to hazardous gas. “It’s shocking to see so many people being killed by their jobs”, said Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, WHO Director-General. Irrespective of multiple government reforms, India is still no exception. Every year contaminated air claims the lives of countless workers across the country. Although Environmental service providers pledge to relieve the choking workforce from the toxic circumstance, their fragmented outlook has been a major roadblock.
