The state of Odisha will receive substantial growth in renewable energy capabilities through Welspun New Energy's ₹13,500 crore agreement with local officials. Through this agreement, Welspun New Energy will pursue the development of two vital renewable power projects totaling 3,200 MW to strengthen Odisha's clean energy infrastructure.
These initiatives establish strong energy storage systems that ensure renewable power effectively merges with the power grid. With this initiative, India shows support for its 2030 goal of generating 500 GW of renewable energy capacity while progressing its sustainable energy infrastructure.
