According to the MoU, two pumped storages with a combined capacity of 1500 mw would be built in the Almora district of the state. In accordance with the terms of the MoU, JSW Neo Energy Limited will aim to establish two self-described pump storage projects in Almora with a combined capacity of 1500 MW. CM Dhami said the G-20 meeting's success in India served as motivation for his administration to host a global investors' summit in the region. He further stated that the summit, which the government of Uttarakhand is organising, will follow the format of "Vibrant Gujarat".
He also highlighted the central government's role in the state's industrial expansion under Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He claimed that the state is developing quickly and that his administration is now working on several projects totaling over 1.50 lakh crores. He emphasised Uttarakhand as a popular tourism destination and stated that so far this year's Char-Dham Yatra has brought in nearly 44 lakh pilgrims to the state. The fact that all hotels and homestays are completely booked during this Yatra season is a good indicator for the state.
He emphasised the necessity for the state to construct solid infrastructure, and as a result, the administration decided to host a summit for global investors. The "single window system" has been enhanced. Tourism, Ayush, wellness, food processing, automotive, renewable energy, information technology, and pharmaceuticals are some of the areas on which the state has focused. Senior officials from the Uttarakhand administration, including Meenakshi Sundaram, Vinay Shankar Pandey, Rohit Meena, and Banshidhar Tewari, attended the roadshow that was held in New Delhi.
