Tata Power Solar, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tata Power, on Wednesday said it has got a Letter of Award worth Rs 686 crore from NTPC to erect 210 megawatts (MW) of solar projects in Gujarat.
It added that the projects would be commissioned
by November, 2022. As per the company press release, with this addition, the order pipeline of Tata Power Solar has touched 2.8 gigawatt (GW) with a value of Rs 13,000 crore.
The scope of work comprises land, transmission, engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning of the solar projects. The NTPC project site is situated in Gujarat.
Tata Power Solar has formerly implemented projects such as the 250 MW Ayana at Andhra Pradesh’s Ananthapur and 105 MW of floating solar at Kayamkulam in Kerala.
Tata Power Solar has a portfolio of more than 5.4 GW of ground-mount utility-scale, over 515 MW of rooftop and distributed generation projects and installation of over 36,000 pumps throughout the country till date.
