Suzlon Energy Limited, decreased expenses were a major factor in the December 2022 quarter's consolidated net profit more than doubling to Rs 78.28 crore. According to Suzlon Energy's regulatory filing, the business recorded a net profit of Rs 36.77 crore during the quarter from October to December of the previous year. However, it saw
a decrease in total revenue, which dropped from Rs. 1,615 crore. Compared to the same quarter a year earlier, the expenses were Rs 1,386 crore in the current quarter. Girish Tanti, vice chairman of the Suzlon Group, stated in a separate statement: "With a flurry of significant policy announcements at the start of 2023, the wind energy sector has experienced tremendous growth. Indian wind energy is prepared and on pace to make a significant contribution to India's strategy for energy change."
Suzlon Group Chief Executive Officer Ashwani Kumar said: "For us, Q3 has been a stable quarter. Our service company is doing well, and we are still concentrating on filling our order book. Early performance reviews for the S144-3.x MW, the first machine in our largest wind turbine series, are quite positive. It was installed at Sankaneri, Tamil Nadu, in December 2022."
