The Indian affiliate of a renowned Nordic Energy Company has placed an agreement for 69 MW of wind energy with the provider of renewable energy solutions Suzlon. A leading Nordic Energy Company's Indian affiliate has placed an order for the development of a 69 MW wind power plant, according to a Suzlon statement. The amount
of the order, however, was kept a secret by the business. 23 wind turbine generators (WTGs) each with a 3 MW rated capacity and a Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) tower will be installed by Suzlon.
"At Suzlon, we take great pride that a leading Nordic Energy Company with a proven global track record in renewable energy has placed their trust in Suzlon for their first wind energy project outside of Europe," stated JP Chalasani, Chief Executive Officer of the Suzlon Group.
The project will be completed in Karnataka and put into service in 2024. This is the fourth order for the larger S144-140m wind turbine type from the new 3 MW series. Suzlon Energy is responsible for providing the wind turbines (equipment supply), project supervision, and project commissioning. In addition, Suzlon will offer operations and maintenance services following commissioning, according to the announcement.
