Nextracker Technology has been chosen by Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Ltd (SWREL), which is carrying out a 1.56 GW DC solar PV project of NTPC Renewable Energy in Gujarat. in Khavda RE Park in Rann of Kutch, Gujarat, has been awarded to SWERL, a major provider of solar EPC solutions, by NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd (NTPC REL). The state-owned energy behemoth NTPC Ltd. owns a 100% stake in NTPC REL.
SWERL Global CEO Amit Jain, the adoption of solar trackers coupled with bifacial module technology is on the rise in India as a result of increased tracker design efficiency. He added that components would be made with locally produced steel from Gujarati industries in addition to providing solar tracker technology.
