Neutrogena's latest survey has revealed that 95% of Indian women are actively searching for anti-aging solutions, reflecting a growing awareness and concern about skin aging among this demographic. Building on insights from its study ‘Aging and the Indian Face: An Analytical Study of Aging in the Asian Indian Face,’ Neutrogena has collaborated with beauty retail giant Nykaa to launch a new anti-aging product line tailored to the unique needs of Indian women.
According to Manoj Gadgil, the Vice President of Marketing and Head of Kenvue’s Essential and Skin Health and Beauty division, the launch of Neutrogena's Visible Repair Range is designed to address key concerns identified by the survey. He highlighted that with Indian women becoming more health and skin-conscious, there is increasing demand for products that reverse the signs of aging and provide younger-looking skin.
The survey highlighted that fine lines and wrinkles are the top aging-related skin concerns for two-thirds of the women surveyed. However, while 75% of women recognize fine lines and wrinkles as early indicators of aging, only 42% currently use specialized anti-aging products.
The new Visible Repair Range offers science-backed anti-aging solutions with ingredients designed to visibly improve skin aging issues, aiming to provide Indian women with a superior beauty experience. The product line will initially be available on Nykaa and will expand across various multi-brand retail chains in India.
