State-owned NLC India has given a contract to I-Fox Windtechnik, a division of Inox Green Energy Services, for the operation and upkeep of a 51 MW wind energy plant in Tamil Nadu.
A top provider of operations and maintenance (O&M) services for wind power is Inox Green Energy Services Ltd (IGESL). According to the company, the contract's scope includes complete O&M for five years, including a power evacuation system, with a revenue realisation of Rs 40 crore.
"The LoA (Letter of Award) from one of the biggest PSUs is a significant turning point for IGESL and our subsidiary I-Fox Wind as they continue to grow.
S K Mathu Sudhana, the CEO of IGESL, stated that the company is moving closer to its objective of having a WTG O&M portfolio of 6GW by FY26 through a combination of organic and inorganic growth.
