India and Russia have opened an invitation for proposals from Indian and Russian researchers that objective to jointly research clean energy, new materials, and smart transport.
The selected projects would be co-funded by India’s Department of Science & Technology and
the Russian Science Foundation (RSF).
For individual project, the DST would offer annual funding of up to INR 70,00,000 to support the Indian partner, while the RSF would provide a maximum of Rbls 70,00,000 annually for the Russian project partner.
The period of each project shall be three years. Project on each side is to be executed by a project team consisting of 4-10 members, out of which a minimum of 50% members must be below 39 years.
For the Indian side, key investigators should be scientists/faculty members working in a regular capacity in universities, academic institutes, and national research and development laboratories/institutes.
The time limit for proposal submission is June 15, 2021. The results would be declared in December 2021.
