The electrical Infrastructure including Distribution and controls of any establishment, be it Automobile, Technology, Automotive, Food Industry, Manufacturing, Pharma Industry, Construction and Infrastructure, Government Organizations, Engineering, Energy, Real estate, Fashion, Retail, Finance and others; is the heart of any establishment. Hence the facilities depend on reliable and uninterrupted electricity for their functioning and operation. Electrical Contracting has thus evolved from providing a conventional power distribution system to a more robust and efficient system that focuses on comfort, safety, and an attractive work environment which in turn contributes to reduced energy consumption and carbon footprint and cost reduction to building owners and tenants. Moreover, the latest developments in digital technologies have made electrical systems more connected, intelligent, efficient, reliable, and sustainable.
Increasing demand in construction activities across sectors which include Data Centres due to digitalization taking prominence in all domains, Industries shifting to highly sophisticated equipment and automated production lines, Solar Power Plants being established to use renewable energy, EV Charging Stations to cater to the need of Electric Mobility are some of the major factors bolstering the growth of this market.
In the present competitive market, customers expect the Electrical Contractors to meet the budget allocated for a particular project and adhere to the project timelines to meet their operational needs. They also look for contractors who can provide seamless integration of all the MEPF services in the project.
Perfectly understanding the aforementioned requirements Bangalore-based Micron Electricals – a leading ‘Super Grade Electrical Contractor’ in the state of Karnataka provides the benefit of reduced project costs without compromising the quality and the design intent of the job by adopting value engineering techniques. The pre-commissioning, commissioning & maintenance
The pre-commissioning and commissioning process in a project is the process of assuring that all systems and components are designed, installed, tested, operated and maintained according to the operational requirements of the client. Micron Electricals follows a clearly-defined 5-step pre-commissioning and commissioning process. The first step begins with Factory acceptance testing (FAT) in which the individual equipment or material is tested in the manufacturing plant against design intent to ensure compliance to both performance specification and standards of workmanship before acceptance onsite. This is followed by the Site acceptance testing (SAT) where the equipment/materials are individually inspected onsite for the correctness of the delivery as per the requirement.
The third step includes pre-functional testing, in which once the installation is complete, various constituent elements are individually inspected, powered up, and commissioned. The fourth is the Functional testing step where the individual components are linked together, commissioned and tested as a group of components. The final step includes Integrated Systems Testing (IST) where all the aforementioned steps are culminated and performed to test the entire Integrated M&E system and demonstrate the fully automated operation and proper response to equipment failures and utility problems under full load and in extreme conditions.
