The vision is to provide complete microbiology solutions to customers through standardized methodologies at par with international standards. Biocare is the pioneer in automation in the microbiology laboratory. It is the first to introduce and install an automated blood culture system BD Bactec 9050 (US), Gen-probe's transcription-mediated amplification (TMA) (US), Mini API from Biomerieux (France) for microorganism identification, automated bacterial identification & susceptibility system. Currently Biocare is equipped with all advances equipments like, GC, UV spectrophotometer, Automated Bacterial ID and susceptibility testing system known as Vitec-2C and many more.
Be it drinking water or treated industrial effluent or Probiotic product, analysis of product quality according to the requirements of consumers is of utmost importance. Biocare also conducts water, food and Probiotic food contaminant detection for two categories - microbial and chemical. It helps with protocol optimization services too in various areas to assist in clinical research like - GC analysis, organism isolation protocols, probiotic count claim, special investigations on cell lines, microscopic protocols, cell growth protocols, and optimization of fermentation protocols. Biocare also helps analyze the presence of pathogenic bacteria, fungi, viruses, and toxins at stages from raw materials to finished food products. Currently, Biocare is one of the few laboratories conducting testing for PPEs for contaminated blood penetration testing. Be it coverall, medical textile fabric, or masks, Biocare ensures its customers to achieve quality requirements for manufacturing. It also assists in tailor-made research specific to an industry.
