India has witnessed phenomenal growth in the Storage tank market in the past 17 years. Major factors governing the growth of this market are government compliance, specific need for storage of water and chemicals in the domestic and industrial market, fluctuations in the supply of material being stored, storage convenience, the cost-effectiveness of storage tanks, etc.
Ahmedabad-based Thinkgreen Enviro-tech has leveraged this growth by manufacturing and supplying ultra high quality and extremely strong Fibre Reinforced Polymer (FRP) tanks that are made with state-of-the-art technology. “We have our manufacturing facilities spread over 60000 sq. ft. and a team of Environmental and FRP experts which offer unique solutions to cater to any kind of our clients' requirement,” says Vivek Sheth, Director, Thinkgreen Envirotech.
Thinkgreen is a solution-oriented company that believes in delivering the best solution (as per the client’s requirement) and a high-quality product. The company’s solutions and products are a real value for money to its clients and this policy has, in turn, helped them make long-lasting relationships with all its clients. “All our tanks are customized keeping clients requirements in mind. All things like tank diameter, height, length, thickness, colour, etc can be customized and we can cater to almost any storage requirement,” adds Thinkgreen’s director.
The company comprises a team of Environmental cum FRP experts. Its uniqueness lies in manufacturing and delivering FRP Wastewater or Sewage treatment plants along with its storage tanks. Thinkgreen has been successful in bringing the wastewater treatment project cost down by
more than 50 percent through its FRP plants. “We take pride in delivering and installing a minimum 400 FRP Wastewater or Sewage treatment plants by now and enabling our clients to significantly save their precious time, money and many other resources,” adds Jivesh Marfatia, Director, Thinkgreen.
The company has a wide range of storage tanks such as Raw Water storage (FRP & PPFRP), Firewater storage, various chemical storage, Raw material Storage, Chemical reaction vessels, Finished goods storage, Wastewater or Sewage collection tanks, Sewage treatment plants, Treated water tanks of STPs, Rainwater harvesting tanks and many more. Its FRP tanks can be Horizontal or Vertical and can be installed under the ground, above the ground, basement, terrace, and more, depending on the space available at the client’s place.

RCC tanks, on the other hand, take way more time for their construction. Thinkgreen FRP tanks do not corrode like metal tanks and are very long-lasting. RCC tanks, once constructed, cannot be shifted later on. “Our tanks are most cost-effective as compared to metal and RCC tanks and therefore, considering all these points, clients find it very easy to go for our FRP tanks for their storage requirement,” says Vivek and Jivesh Marfatia. All of the company’s storage tanks are a minimum of 13-30 mm thick (depending on the storage requirement). The team ensures that it performs a leak test before the tank is delivered on-site.
The quality of the company’s storage tanks has allowed them to be placed at a well-off position in the market
According to Thinkgreen, the quality of the company’s storage tanks has allowed them to be placed at a well-off position in the market. “I do feel that more awareness of FRP tanks will definitely help us place our company in a much better position,” adds Jivesh. Currently, the company supplies tanks all over India and in countries abroad. “We want to penetrate further and show our presence in all states possibly by making more and more channel partners, distributors and OEMs,” concludes Vivek.
