As an Abrasive manufacturer, the bulk of SuriePolex’s revenues came from Silicon Carbide-based bonded abrasives. However, the industry started demanding increased productivity and better performance. As a result of the change in industry demands, the company was faced with the danger of becoming obsolete.

Aaloke Surie, Founder
An alumnus of the reputed IIT Bombay, Aaloke Surie, completed his M.Tech from Aachen Germany before laying down the foundation of Surie Polex in 1985. Through his determination and extraordinary vision, Aaloke Surie has successfully spearheaded the rapid transformation of his small proprietorship firm into one of the biggest manufacturers of highly specialized abrasive products in India.
