The Precision parts market has seen tremendous growth in the last few years and is set to surpass 10 percent CAGR soon. Though covid slowed down the market, it is slowly crawling back to rhythm and the market has seen an upshift in the last year or so. Seizo CNC Private Limited is a pioneering business organization that was set up in late 2019, just before the pandemic. Within a short span of time, the company has been able to make impressive strides.
And the quality of their offerings has not only helped the company to build a positive reputation in the industry but it has also helped them to create a niche in the market. Varun Thontadarya is the MD of the company and he did his masters from University of Michigan and worked in the US in the automotive industry for three years. He returned to India in 2019 thinking of starting something on his own instead of opting for a 9-5 job.
While talking about the company’s offerings and its uniqueness, Varun adds “We manufacture high precision products for four major segments, namely Aerospace & defence, Aviation, Automotive and Medical. Being in the precision manufacturing field, we customize our manufacturing based on the customer’s needs but our service is what sets us apart. Consistency in Quality and on time delivery differentiate us from the other players in the field. Though competitive pricing continues to be an important ask from the
clients, client’s expectations are changing towards high quality, timely delivery and precision as well. I also feel the personal touch, customer obsession and corporate approach to manufacturing is going to be the norm of the day going forward. Seizo CNC’s motto has always been to work backwards from the customer and solve customer problems in a timely manner ensuring quality and precision. We are also striving to inculcate a corporate culture in the manufacturing space and that is how our company is positioned to meet clients’ expectations".
Adding more about Seizo CNC’s evolution in the industry, Varun says “We entered the market with a clear vision-Be the most trusted company with our experience and competence in the manufacture of high-quality products, and mission- Bring innovation to reality in every product we manufacture with a high level of precision, accuracy and repeatability. We have taken bold decisions and steps from the days of our inception. Even though we are a startup, we have invested in best-in-class machinery. We have also been bullish in hiring the right skillset, sometimes at a marginally higher cost.
We are employee-centric and have supported our staff to step up and take up more responsibilities. Being a startup, we have had our share of achievements in a short period of time as well. We received our Aerospace Certification very early in our journey, we faced several challenges during the pandemic, and to survive all this and bounce back can be considered as an achievement on its own. We strongly believe in the opportunity this space has to offer and the alignment of the same with our vision and mission”.
Being in the precision manufacturing field, we customize our manufacturing based on the customer’s needs but our service is what sets us apart.
Evolving with the changing times, Seizo CNC is aiming to continue their growth and they are looking at different technologies that could be incorporated at their facility that will support their existing infrastructure. The company will also be adding new engineers with this currently planned expansion and continue to look into automation in day-to-day company activities to reduce human error and get better efficiency.
Seizo CNC is also in final talks with a few reputed universities in Bangalore, to start an internship program for their students which will help them in continuous innovation and bring in fresh ideas on the table with fresh talent in hand. In terms of business growth, the company is already registered with several PSUs and will be taking steps to move forward. With their increased capacity and capability, Seizo CNC will also be looking at new customers and increasing their export activities.
